The Emcee Projects

When I was little, my ambition was to be a journalist and broadcaster. Reading the newspaper out loud infront of my parents (and mirror of course) pretending to be a newscater was my hobby back then ;) With the strong determination in pursuing my childhood dream and all the courage from the loved ones I participated in a bradcasting audition with Channel 9 (now TV9) for 'Pengacara Popular Channel 9' back in year 2004. I passed all interviews and auditions. It wasn't an easy audition. Every candidates must at least have an excellent knowledge about current affairs and we were given the tasks to complete including interviewing 'real subject' for a report to be presented to the judges. I remember that I chose the topic 'Kemelut Politik di Kelantan' and created my own 'talk show' called GINCU MERAH during the finale. From thousands of applicants, I have short-listed to top 9 and finally the top 4. Well, not a bad achievement as I never had any journalism experience compared to the top 3. I heard they're now involving in broadcasting industry actively. Good for them. Though I'm not a TV personality now (due to other commitments) I'm living my childhood dream by taking an emcee jobs. For wedding for a start. It has been several times now. Its definitely a fun experience! I'm looking forward to a formal or corporate event next. I can be contacted at mel_aziz@hotmail.com should you need the emcee service. :-)

Fashion Rules

Fashion rule #1: Be yourself or die trying... If it feels good, wear it.

Fashion rule #2: Don't follow trends. Wear and buy what feels and looks good.

Fashion rule #3: Don't be a slave to fashion. Wear what you like and feel comfortable in.

Fashion rule #4: Always dress according to the occasion.

Fashion rule #5: Keep it simple. Don't over do yourself. Because simple is classy and overdoing it looks trashy!

Fashion rule #6: Be reasonable to yourself. Good clothing does not have to be expensive. It's the way you work it!

Fashion rule #7: Be confident!

Mother-ing With Style!

I used to say it's interesting when you have to wear many hats - mother, wife and entrepreneur! Well it's tiring but it's exciting when you witness your children growing up healthily in front of your two eyes... I admit juggling motherhood with passion ain't that easy after all! But it's not a 'ticket' for us to look undone and sloppy. We should embrace every moment being at home (or outside ;-p), try to find time for ourselves and time to do what we like. To me the time management is the KEY (even with no helper!) When they ask 'how she does it?' My answers are stay focus, positive, smile and know the 'tricks'! Let's mother-ing with style!

Shooting for NONA TV3 (episode 3, 2013) about working from home mom, with kids and no maid

Thanks NONA TV3 for the coverage about Mel's Closet too!
We're getting more orders!
No matter how glamorous your job, motherhood is still the best!

Check out Rachel Donovan rhymes the motherhood rap on YouTube

"I'm a school run taker, fairy cake baker, deal maker, orgasm faker, nit raker, rattle shaker, cheese grater, night-time waker. I'm a placater. Peacemaker,"

"It's the motherhood, it's another hood. I'd like to welcome you, but now you're here for good. We go from nappy rash to ending family feuds. And I'm flooding up your timeline with my baby news."

"Sleep deprived and under house arrest. Think I'd sell both kidneys just to get some rest. Spent three months in PJs it was clearly a sign. Joined a book club just so I could drink some wine."

Hahahaha enuff said. Motherhood is never easy!

The best job I never wanna quit!
